Keith Haring is an American draftsman, painter and sculptor. By the symbolic force of his works, he is one of the most important artists of the end of the 20th century.
It was in New York, at the beginning of the 80s, that Haring, immersed in the avant-garde movement of his time, which was expressed in particular at Club 57, revealed himself to be one of the visionaries of the new generation.
Its pictograms repeated at will, its black line, its happy colors, place it very quickly under the eye of the media and the public. Between graffiti and the story of a generation that is being written very quickly, Haring is an exceptional multi-disciplinary artist.
The last years of his life, after the revelation of his infection with the AIDS virus, were marked by his activism, at the service of which he obviously put his creations.
